JAMS ships with a Job in the JAMS Folder called, "JAMSBackup". The Job can be configured with Parameters to specify where the location of the backup is kept, and the name of the database you wish to backup. By default, this is set to JAMS. 

The Execute As user must also be configured to execute the sqlcmd.exe utility on the scheduler server. It also must have access to the JAMS database and the target folder where the backup will be stored.

The job can be run ad-hoc or scheduled like any other job using the Schedule tab, and selecting "Run this job on a schedule."
