Automatically Submitting Jobs

When a Job Definition needs to run automatically, a checkbox can be toggled for the "Enable" option within a Schedule Trigger. A Schedule Trigger can be set on the Folder or Job level within the Schedule tab of the Job.

When this box is unchecked, JAMS will not automatically Submit future instances of the Definition based on the selected Schedule, though it is important to note that Jobs already Submitted to the Schedule, will not be affected.

  1. Open the Schedule tab of a Job/Folder and open the Schedule Trigger properties. 
  2. Click the + button and select Run this job | on a schedule.
  3. Toggle the Enabled option for the Schedule Trigger.
