If a Mail Trigger Element is being used, the error message "Server Certificate was rejected by the verifier because of an unknown certificate authority" will appear in the Audit Trail of the Mail Watch Entry produced by the Trigger Element, or in the JAMSScheduler.log file.

This error will also appear if the certificates that reside on the mail server are not applied to the JAMS Server.

In order to resolve this, the appropriate authentication certificates must be added to the Computer Account's "Trusted Root Certification Authority" folder of the JAMS Scheduler.

Perform an Export on the certificate from the mail server and then import the certificate using the instructions found in the link below.
