JAMS provides Guidewire automation through two primary methods:

• Using scripted processes (PowerShell, Python, etc.) to make Guidewire API calls
• Using JAMS to automate the BatchRunner Tool

BatchRunner is a standalone Java application available through the Guidewire Marketplace.

Most JAMS customers automating Guidewire place the BatchRunner Tool between the JAMS Scheduler and the Guidewire server. JAMS is used to call BatchRunner using simple Windows Batch or Unix Shell scripts, which run Guidewire processes.
