JAMS SQL Database Tables


The following is a description of the SQL database tables used by JAMS:

Agent - Stores agent definitions

Alert – Contains the properties of JAMS Alert definitions

AlertEvent – Contains the details on which Events each Alert is subscripted to

AuditTrail - Stores the summary audit trail entries

CDP - Current Dependencies, stores information about unsatisfied dependencies for jobs in the current schedule (CurJob).

Cfg - Configuration settings

CurJob - Stores entries in the current schedule

CurJobInfo - A single record that holds the next entry number and next RON

CurParam - Parameter values for entries in CurJob

CurRep - Report values for entries in CurJob

DateD - Date detail, stores the detail dates for date types

DateM - Date types.

DateST - Specific types of date types.

EntryAuditTrail - Stores the information you see behind the "Audit Trail" tab of an entry in the Monitor

Failover - A single record that contains information about which scheduler is currently active

Folder – Details on Folder Definitions

FolderParam – Details about parameters defined at the Folder level

Hist - History table

JDP – Contains details about Job and Setup dependencies

Job - Job definitions

MenuD - Menu detail, the details lines of a menu definition.

MenuM - Menu Master, menu definitions

MethodParam - Parameters for execution methods

Methods - Execution methods

NamedTimes - Named times

NextId - Stores the next available ID for many different objects.

ObjectStore - Stores stuff that an execution method asks the scheduler to store. This is used by the Workflow execution method.

Param - Job parameters

Queue - Batch queues

QueueNode - The nodes that a queue is started on

Rep - Report definitions for jobs

ReportDesign - Report definitions

ReportType - Report types

ResourceD - Resource detail, node specific quantities for resources that have different values for different nodes.

ResourceInUse - Resources values currently in use by executing jobs

ResourceM - Resource definitions

ResReq - Resource requirements

Security - ACLs that are under the padlock pull down menu.

SetupD - Setup detail, the jobs in a setup

SetupM - Setup master, setup definitions

SetupP - Setup parameter values

SetupR - Setup report values

TimeZone - Time zone definitions

TriggerActions - Trigger Actions

TriggerEvents - Trigger Events

TriggerAuditTrail - Contains audit trail information for Trigger Definitions

Triggers - Trigger definitions

UserSecurity - User security definitions

Variables - Variable definitions


All tables that end in "AT" are audit trail tables, they store previous versions of the objects the primary table.

For example, JobAT stores previous versions of records in Job.



All tables that end in “xRef” are object references.

For example, AlertxRef contains details on which JAMS objects reference an Alert (Folder, Job, Setup, etc…)
