If an Encryption Key for a JAMS User has been overwritten, or accidentally lost, the Private Key information can be obtained from a prior backup of the JAMS Database. Either an existing instance of JAMS can be used and pointed to the backup database, or a fresh install without an active license key can be utilized.

• Restore the DB
• In the JAMS Client, open the Properties to the User
• Click Key Management
• Click Save Private Key

This key file can then be loaded into the JAMS User on the JAMS Server where the key was lost.
