How to Resolve Scaling Issues in JAMS Reports


After upgrading to JAMS v6.2 or newer some charts may be scaled incorrectly. Due to feature enhancements a minor change must be made to old Reports to get the expected behavior.

The chart below illustrates the scaling issue what this change will resolve:


To resolve the issue:

  • Open the affected Report in the JAMS Report Designer
  • Click the outer border of the chart which will display its settings in the Property Grid on the right hand pane
  • Within the Elements category of the Property Grid expand Diagram -> Axis X -> DateTimeOptions to view scaling options.
  • Change the value of the AggregateFunction property from Average to Sum

After saving, run the Report and now the correct scaling will in the chart as shown below:
