Authenticate Across a Domain

Follow

If the Windows credentials being used on the client machine cannot be used to authenticate to the JAMS server, it may be necessary to specify a separate set of credentials in order to authenticate.

This is also useful for cases where the client machine and JAMS Scheduler are not on the same domain.

  1. Open the JAMS client and click on the red "J" icon in the upper-left corner
  2. Select the JAMS server and click the "Change" button
  3. Select the Authentication tab, and check the box, "Prompt for Username/Password when connecting"

Note: JAMS will not store password information here. However, it will store the username information.
